Our Favorite Nutrition and Body Image Podcast Recommendations

Podcasts can be a great way to continue learning about nutrition and body image in between nutrition counseling sessions. While this is not an exhaustive list, here are eight of our favorite podcasts that explore health, nutrition, body image, and more from a weight-inclusive and body-neutral lens. 


Maintenance Phase Michael Hobbes and Aubrey Gordon debunk the junk science behind health and wellness fads. If you have a history of chronic dieting or want to learn more about why fad diets don’t work, check out this podcast.

The Body Grievers Club with Bri Campos — a podcast aimed to help you explore your body image. Bri Campos is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of NJ and identifies as a fat positive, HAES body image coach & educator. Her goal is to help change the conversation from diets & rules to acceptance & freedom. Join Bri as she explores the ins and outs of body image, self-esteem, diet culture, self-love and finding peace as you come home to your body.

Love Your Gut — Hosted by Dr. Heather Finley, our go-to gut health podcast. Each week on the podcast, Heather breaks down complex science into digestible information so that you can understand why you are experiencing the symptoms that you are, and what you can do about them to find sustainable and lasting relief. Gone are the days of continually eliminating foods to find minimal relief. The Love Your Gut podcast dives deep into topics that explain the root causes of your symptoms.

Body Liberation for All with Dalia Kinsley — Holistic Registered Dietitian Dalia Kinsey created Body Liberation for All as a resource for QTBIPOC folks who are ready to become the happiest version of themselves, using healing tools tailored for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folx. Since wellness is multi-factorial each season covers a broad range of tools (sexual expression, indigenous medicine, mindfulness etc.) for the pursuit of happiness. Special guests and healers join throughout each season to share their journeys to inner peace and fulfillment.

Real Health Radio — In this podcast, nutritionist Chris Sandel looks at what health really means, not just the appearance of health but genuine health. He interviews guests as well as doing informative podcasts on his own. His areas of expertise are diet recovery, eating disorders, body image, hormonal health (fertility and thyroid issues), metabolism, habit formation, nutrition, eating habits, physiology, exercise and movement.
